CCAS National Cheerleading Championship
The 23rd CCAS National Cheerleading Championship will take place on the 18th of May 2019 in Martigny! (Rue du Simplon 4c, 1920 Martigny)The doors will open at half past ten for spectators, the opening ceremony will begin at half past eleven.There are numerous teams registered in many divisions, and the organization is in full swing.CCAS is looking forward to an amazing championship and wish all athletes the best preparation possible. First National Team Skills Day
The first skills day will take place on the weekend of 26. & 27. January 2019, Saturday will be the day for juniors training and Sunday for seniors training. For this kick-off we will have Anthony Ridgway to support the coaching staff. Ant is coach of the British national team and before that had been coach at Unity Allstars. On this first Skils Day all cheerleaders are welcome, even if you are not (yet) considering joining the national team. Since these skills days are in preparation for the allgirl national team the focus will be on all girl techniques, however coed stuntgroups are very welcome and encouraged to join. We do ask you to sign up for the skills day so we know how many people to expect, the sign-up sheet will follow shortly. Staff Application for Cheerleading National Team 2020
We are happy to announce that we now accept applications for staff positions for the 2020 Swiss Allgirl National Teams. As a reminder: – the next cheerleading national team by CCAS will be going to ICU worlds 2020. Currently the plan is to go with one or two all girl teams (senior and junior, depending on the number of athletes) – head coach is Marion Gämperli, Kira Perez will be part of the coaching staff. They will review and decide on the coaching staff applications – team manager is Nadja Arevalo, she will review and decide on the managing staff applications If you would like to contribute to the team and help either as a coach or as a part of the managing staff, please fill out the application by 15 November 2018.
